12 January 1997 - A monument unveiled

A new monument, to commemorate the tricentenary of the landing of Willem the Vlamingh was unveiled on the foreshore of the Swan river by His Royal Highness Prince Willem Alexander (the Netherlands) on the 12 January 1997.
